社会上弥漫讲求快速致富、快速成长,一切都快就是未来的新趋势。用这种只重表面的虚象来引导年轻人发展,并不是一件好事。 Just look at those apparently impressive constructions which proved to be fragile in an earthquake. 像一些建筑,只讲究外表的漂亮,一遇到地震,却不可靠。 True, social changes bred of ever faster flows of information and advances in technology are irresistible today, but they do not always translate into wealth or success overnight. Steady and sure progress will still be the mainstream in the future growth. 今天的社会变迁、资讯快速、科技进步,这是不能改变的。但是,这些发展不一定要引申成快速致富,一夜成功。反而应该是踏踏实实、一步一步走,才是将来的主流。 Such solid progress is in no contradiction with new developments in information and other technologies. The latest and fast changing technologies will help maintain andfacilitate growth, yet our growth must be reliably down-to-earth to ensure sustainable success. 因为,脚踏实地的发展,并不与快速的资讯与科技进步有冲突;我们可以利用科技的变迁,资讯的快速发展做为工具。在这种工具的协助下,我们还是要一步步脚踏实地,这样的成功才能持久。 Traditional values in our heritage that are proven viable should be retained and developed into "new values" needed for the future. 如果传统的一些旧价值是好的,就应该要延续,发展成未来需要的"新价值"。 
过去的改变慢、行动慢、要好好考虑的决策方式,必须因应科技的进步、资讯传播的速度而改变,但是走的方向还是要实实在在,这才是我们要推广的新价值观。 We used to label various enterprises as large or small,traditional or high-tech, but that classification is no longer valid. 过去常见将企业分成大企业、小企业、传统企业、高科技,这种分类法是不对的。 If a company makes traditional products by high-tech means, then it is a high-tech enterprise. Traditional products do not disqualify the producer from high-tech. 如果传统企业用高科技生产传统产品,就算是高科技企业。生产传统的产品,不表示它就不是高科技。 On the other hand, high-tech industries cannot grow without support from traditional products. 如果没有传统产品支持高科技产业,它也没有办法去发展。 In this light, one can see that there is no point in classifying the various enterprises so long as they all function towards prosperity and wellbeing in this land and better life for the people. 假如大家用这个观念思考,所有的企业都是为了这块土地的繁荣与福祉再努力,让生活品质更好,就没有区分的必要。 
企业的发展应该朝向联盟的方向。不只是同业联盟,还要异业联盟,相互支援、合作。
