But she loses her balance on the slippery floor and falls all the way down the stairs. Days later, newly recovered from the unexpected accident and a resulting miscarriage, scarlett sits in a chair on a balcony. Rhett comes.) （思嘉要打瑞德，却在地板上滑了一下，摔下楼阶。孩子没有 了。几星期后，思嘉恢复了健康，她坐在阳台上，瑞德来了。） Mammie: miss scarlett\'s feeling a heap better today, mr. Rhett. 奶妈：思嘉小姐今天好多了，瑞德先生。 Rhett: thank you. I\'ve come to ask your forgiveness. In the hope that we can give our life together another chance. 瑞：谢谢你。我来请求你的原谅，希望我们能有个机会重新共同生活。 
思嘉：共同生活？我们有过共同生活吗？ Rhett: i guess you\'re right. But i\'m sure if we could only try again,we could be happy. 瑞德：我想你是对的，但我相信如果我们肯再试一下，我们一定会快乐的。 Scarlett: what is there to make us happy now? 思嘉：现在还有什么能让我们快乐呢？ Rhett: well there\'s, there\'s bonnie and, and i love you, scarlett. 瑞德：我们有，我们有邦尼。而且，而且我爱你，思嘉。 Scarlett: when did you discover that? 思嘉：你什么时候发现这一点的？

I can jump better than ever, cuz i\'ve grown, and i\'ve moved the bar higher... 邦尼：我要跳，我跳得比以前好多了，因为我长大了。我把跳栏也提高了。 
思嘉：别让她去，瑞德。 Rhett: no, bonnie, you can\'t... Well if you fall off, don\'t cry and blame me! 瑞德：不行，邦尼，你别……好吧。如果你摔下来，别哭，也别怨我。 Scarlett: rhett, stop her. 思嘉：瑞德，拦住她！ Rhett: bonnie! Bonnie! 瑞德：邦尼！邦尼！ Scarlett: just like paw. Just like paw! 思嘉：和爸爸一样。和爸爸一样！ 
瑞德：邦尼！邦尼！邦尼！ (Bonnie died. Like her grandfather, she falls over from the horse to the ground. With her, she takes many things......) （象她的祖父一样，邦尼从马上摔下来死了。她带走了许多……）
